Terms of sale

Buying PhoneSync gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the PhoneSync Mac app on one Mac and the PhoneSync Android app on one Android phone, for as long as you like, including future updates we release. The licence may not be used on any other Mac or Android device; each additional device needs its own licence. If you replace your Mac or phone, contact support and we'll move your licence to the new device. You may not resell, redistribute or share your download links or licence with others.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; any taxes are shown at checkout. A launch price applies until the date shown on the website, after which the regular price applies to new purchases. Customers who bought at the launch price keep their licence.

PhoneSync is provided "as is". Some features depend on your phone's manufacturer, Android version, carrier and network (for example, call audio on the Mac and MMS). We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the apps, to the extent the law allows.

Privacy policy

The apps. PhoneSync connects your phone and your Mac directly over your own network using mutually authenticated, encrypted TLS 1.3 connections. Your messages, calls, notifications, contacts, photos and files are sent only between your own paired devices. They are never sent to us or to any server we run. The apps contain no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Optional Tailscale. If you choose to use Tailscale for away-from-home access, traffic travels over your own Tailscale network under Tailscale's terms; it stays encrypted end to end between your devices.

Purchases. When you buy, Stripe collects your payment details, email and billing country to process the payment and send your receipt. We receive your email and order details from Stripe so we can provide support and refunds. We never see your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy for how Stripe handles your data.

Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you joined with our database provider, Supabase, only so we can email you when PhoneSync launches. We show the total number of people waiting on the site, never who they are. Email support to be removed.

This website. The site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. After checkout, your browser remembers your order reference locally so your download page keeps working.

Refund policy

If PhoneSync isn't right for you, email support within 30 days of purchase with your receipt and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
